The personal fight
Ken begins with addiction, recovery, and the moment survival stops being abstract. The fight is not won once. It is won in the next choice.
FLAGSHIP KEYNOTE · KEN COX
Technology should give us more life—not become our life.
A 60-minute keynote for people deciding how to use powerful technology without surrendering judgment, responsibility, connection, or the freedom to choose the life they want.
Travel, production requirements, workshops, and custom event formats are confirmed during booking.

THE QUESTION IN THE ROOM
When machines can do almost everything, what remains ours to choose?
Ken is not asking audiences to fear technology. He is asking them to become more deliberate about what the technology is for—and who remains responsible when it acts.
THE 12 ROUNDS
Every round is a choice: positivity over negativity, love over fear, and progress over deterioration. The keynote moves through three connected acts.
Ken begins with addiction, recovery, and the moment survival stops being abstract. The fight is not won once. It is won in the next choice.
AI can remove barriers, accelerate work, and create abundance. It can also make dependence feel like relief. The human question begins where convenience becomes authority.
The goal is not to reject the machine. It is to build technology good enough to let people choose their work, their community, and their life without losing the skills and relationships that make those choices meaningful.
WHAT THE ROOM LEAVES WITH
This is not a trend talk or an AI product demonstration. It gives leaders and teams a human standard they can carry into the decisions already waiting for them.
A practical distinction between technology that assists people and systems that quietly replace human authority.
A shared language for judgment, responsibility, consent, capability, and connection in AI-enabled work.
A clearer way to ask which friction should be removed—and which participation is essential to a meaningful human life.
Permission to choose progress without surrender: use the tools, accept the abundance, and keep consequential choices human.
The flagship keynote is designed for conferences, associations, leadership gatherings, company meetings, education, entrepreneurship, civic organizations, and communities navigating the human consequences of rapid technological change.
For organizations that need to go beyond inspiration, an optional working session adapts the movement’s tools into team exercises around responsibility, AI decision rights, capability, and human connection.
60 minutes. One controlling question. A story audiences can feel and a framework they can use.

Quoted with the keynoteTHE GRASSROOTS TOUR
Keep Humanity Human was not built as a corporate campaign. It belongs in libraries, theaters, schools, recovery communities, maker spaces, neighborhood rooms, and the places where people are already deciding how they want to live.
Corporate keynote fees and mission-aligned sponsors help make grassroots stops possible. Local hosts help gather the room. Participation is never treated as proof, and personal stories are never used without clear permission.
A local host identifies the place, audience, and human question that matters there.
Ken delivers the same core framework without turning the community into a sales audience.
The room receives practical field guides and a next action it can carry forward without Ken.
ABOUT KEN COX
Ken’s formal education is in journalism, arts, film, and broadcast. He worked in live event production and then spent more than twenty years in the data center and technology industry. He is also an author, filmmaker, entrepreneur, and recovery advocate who has built companies, infrastructure, media, and software.
That combination matters. Ken can speak to the person fighting for one more day, the operator responsible for keeping systems alive, and the leader trying to decide what should—or should not—be automated.

Keep Humanity Human also exists inside The Institute, Ken’s fictional motion-picture project. Sophia, Essassani, the Global Quantum Alliance, and the future events in that story are fictional. Ken’s lived experience, The 12 Rounds, the live keynote, and the movement’s practical field guides are real. Any fictional demonstration is identified as such and never presented as a real person’s private data or treatment.
