SAFETY STANDARD

Human activities require human preparation.

Minimum operating standards for gatherings, physical practice, tools, food, children, health, weather, and emergencies.

Name the leads

Every event identifies a host, a safety lead, and the person authorized to stop the activity.

Describe the real activity

Publish intensity, contact, equipment, age, access, qualifications, cost, alcohol status, health considerations, and exact end time.

Use qualified instruction

Boxing, jiu-jitsu, strength, breathwork, health-related practice, food, power tools, and hazardous work need appropriate competence and controls.

Make consent changeable

Ask before touch, photography, recording, personal disclosure, or adding someone to a group. Stopping and leaving remain easy.

Prepare the place

Check exits, capacity, weather, water, toilets, lighting, cables, first aid, quiet space, accessible routes, and emergency contact.

Protect children

Use appropriate safeguarding, supervision, pickup, reporting, photography, background-check, and named-adult practices.

Record and improve

Document incidents and near misses without publicizing private details. Name corrective action and verify it before repeating.

Use emergency services

KHH sites and organizers are not emergency services. Contact local emergency services when immediate help is required.
