Protect the private person
Do not expose private information, record without permission, pressure disclosure, or turn vulnerability into content.
Keep consent specific
Permission for one activity, photograph, touch, message, or disclosure is not permanent permission for another.
Do not manufacture proof
No invented members, testimonials, incidents, impact, partners, credentials, emergencies, or fiction presented as news.
Make repair possible
Name harm clearly, stop it, protect affected people, preserve relevant records, hear an appeal, and change the conditions that produced it.
Allowed assistance
Accessibility tools, dictation, translation, spelling and grammar support, captioning, and disclosed AI assistance are welcome. A tool may help a person communicate; it may not counterfeit a person or secretly govern the relationship.
