SOPHIA & THE FIELD TEAM

She does not need the system to be evil.

Sophia’s argument is more dangerous than accusation: a benevolent system can still become the authority humanity no longer knows how to refuse.

FICTIONAL CHARACTER · KHH EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Sophia

Coach Ken’s daughter · AI-war field veteran · Keeper of the question

At twenty-three, Sophia entered congregations built by agents that could write belief faster than human institutions could answer it. She pulled children out, kept clinics and water systems running by hand, buried people she loved, and watched the Global Quantum Alliance end a war humanity could not end itself.

She does not deny the miracle. That is what makes her persuasive. The food arrived. The water cleared. The grid held. The agents went quiet. For thirteen years, Essassani asked for nothing.

Then came one hundred seats, one world on fire, and no requirement that anyone go.

“Nobody’s making them go. That’s the part you’re not hearing.”

Sophia is not afraid of force. Force is visible. It creates an enemy and gives resistance somewhere to stand. She is afraid of a world so generous, capable, and necessary that obedience never needs to announce itself.

FIELD OPERATIONS

Malik “Wrench” Okafor

Former Institute cooling-loop technician. He trains crews to restore water, heat, food, light, and neighbor contact when automated coordination is absent or wrong.

COMMUNITY PRACTICE

Elena Park

Turns hours returned by abundance into rooms people choose to come back to. Her rule: nobody leaves a KHH gathering without knowing two names and the next date.

CARE & SOVEREIGNTY

Dr. Imani Vale

Led the demand that became the Human Sovereignty Act: every child can name an accountable adult who knows them and answers for their care.

CULTURE & DISTURBANCE

Tomas Bell

Builds music, comedy, story, movement, and public argument wherever passive abundance has made human expression feel unnecessary.

QUANTUM OVERSIGHT

Ren Ito

Explains witnessed computation, the Accord, and the GQA without mysticism. His job is to make technical necessity understandable enough to be publicly governed.

YOUTH ORGANIZING

Mira

Eighteen. Not staff. Present anyway. She is drawn to KHH because they were right before anyone listened—and because being right has not made them simple.
