A 30-minute review for automated systems affecting rights, access, safety, work, education, money, or care.

2 = demonstrated Â· 1 = partial Â· 0 = absent. Any zero on questions 1â€“5 means the system is not ready for consequential use.

1Who is the named human owner of the outcome?2Can that person pause the system immediately?3Can an affected person reach qualified human review?4Can the decision be explained in ordinary language?5Is there a working non-automated fallback?6Is synthetic interaction disclosed when it matters?7Can a person refuse without losing an essential service?8Are failures, overrides, and appeals reviewed?9Were affected communities involved before deployment?10Is there a dated reauthorization or retirement plan?

17â€“20: strong foundation Â· 12â€“16: remediation required Â· 0â€“11: do not use consequentially.

A high total never cancels a zero on questions 1â€“5.
