Trivia Night

Host script

A welcoming team game built for conversation and shared discovery rather than humiliation or speed alone.

Welcome. I’m [NAME], tonight’s host and final human decision-maker for wording and scoring.
If you arrived alone, we will help you join a team that has agreed to welcome another person.
Questions will be read aloud and displayed when possible. Ask for a repeat at any time.
We fact-checked every answer, but ambiguity happens. Raise a challenge respectfully; I’ll review it openly.
The goal is a good room, not a perfect scoreboard.

Named human responsibility

A named human fact-checker verifies every answer from appropriate sources, records the review date, and flags time-sensitive claims. The host resolves ambiguity and scoring. AI output and invented citations are never treated as evidence.
